Which fuel filter do I have?

If your OEM chassis was built after August of 2003 you have the new propreitary design.

What are my choices?

  1. Use the orginal OEM style fuel filter.
    • Order from the OEM Service Center for $60 or more.
    • Order from Oemy.
    • Production discontinued June 2011
  2. Order an OEM-Engineering adapter.
    • Order directly from OEM-Engineering.
    • Limited availability.
    • Production discontinued July 2011 due to the availability of the OEM version made by Campion Labs under the LuberFiner brand.
  3. Create a DIY version of the adapter.
    • Buy the fuel fitting and have it welded to the cut off OEM fuel filter "T".
    • Fuel fitting part # is 185005 - FMR POWER STEERING FITTING AN -6 TO 16MM WITH O-RING
  4. OEM version made by Campion Labs under the LuberFiner brand

The Champion Labs proto-type Fuel Filter Adapter kit is 100% identical to the kit previously sold under the Luber Finer brand as will the kit from China.
NOTE - The GF481 and GF652 filters have been made in China for a number of years.
